About

From Winfield, IL. Graduating in Iowa City. Teammate at heart.

I like to think my writing journey began as a kid, conjuring worlds from scratch, orchestrating large scale battles and high stakes scenarios. I would tell fictional stories to my friends with a fun twist to catch them off-guard, write my own renditions of a Spider-Man or Batman film series, or come up with specs for a new video game design. In truth, I still do these things, and I do them because creativity is a limitless skill. I only hope to spread my vision among wide audiences to not only excite and inspire, but to also call out the injustices that exist within the system, as that is the time we live in.

Outside of writing, I’m a big runner. I’m currently wrapping up my fourth and final season running Division I Track & Field at the University of Iowa, where I compete in the 800 meter run. I love working within the team environment because I love watching my peers and myself excel in the same field of practice. It’s important be a good teammate both on and off the field of play, and storytelling is no different since teamwork in this field is a non-negotiable.
